       Mary/3 Lombard was born 13 Nov 1677 at Springfield, MA.1 There she married (1), 23 Dec 1697, John/3 Burt of Longmeadow, son of Nathaniel/2 Burt and Rebecca/2 Sikes.2 He was "killed by his horse in a sleigh" 24 Feb 1704.3 She married (2), 4 Dec 1708 at Springfield, Deliverance/2s Brooks, son of William/1s Brooks and Mary/2 Burt. Her 2d marriage occurred a full month after the birth of their 1st child, if the records may be believed.4,5 They removed to Brimfield [Sheldon: "sett. in Brookfield."].6,5 She died at Brimfield in Oct 1759 at age 81.7,8

       Thankful/3s Brooks was born 3 Feb 1704/5.1 She married, as his 1st wife (int. 15 Nov 1729, Springfield), Samuel Haines of Westfield, son of John Haines and Martha Neal.2 She died at Westfield 10 Jun 1748 at age 43.3

       Abigail/3s Brooks was born 3 Dec 1706.1,2 She married, 7 Mar 1727/28, her 1st cousin John/3s Steele, son of Barrett Steele and Mary/2s Brooks.2 She died 12 Aug 1774 (c.r.) at age 67.2 He died 21 Feb 1793, at the house of Ezra Stebbins in Longmeadow, at age 85.3
