       Elizabeth/4 Fowle was born 3 Feb 1716 at Woburn, MA.1 There she married (1), as his 2d wife, perhaps 18 Mar 1749, Nathan/4w Brooks, son of John/3w Brooks and Mary Bruce. She was a 1st cousin of his 1st wife.2 He died 6 Jan 1751, and she was appointed guardian of their daughter Abigail the following year.3 Her marriage intention to Gershom Flagg Jr. was published 14 Jun 1760, says Virkus, but I do not find it at Woburn.2
     Her death is not of record, but the will of Elizabeth Brooks, of Woburn, dated 17 Dec 1760, gave to her only child, her daughter Abigail, "her whole estate," when she arrived at the age of 21 or was married. Jacob Fowle (of Lancaster), Elizabeth's brother, was appointed administrator, and presented her will to the court 6 Oct 1761.4

       Jacob/3 Fowle, 2d so-named, was born 17 Jul 1677 at Charlestown, MA, and there baptised 2 Sep.1 He married, 3 Nov 1701 at Woburn, Mary Broughton.2

       Abigail/5w Brooks was born 8 Sep 1751 at Woburn, MA.1 Her mother's will, dated 17 Dec 1760, gave to Abigail, her only child, "her whole estate," when she arrived at the age of 21 or was married. Jacob Fowle Jr. of Lancaster, Abigail's uncle, was appointed administrator and presented the will to the court on Oct. 6, 1761. Abigail was probably Jacob's ward from 1762 until her marriage.2
     She married, 27 Jun 1771 at Woburn, Francis/5 Johnson Jr. of Woburn, son of Francis/4 Johnson and Sarah Wyman.3 She reportedly died 1 Jan 1835 ( at age 83), and he 18 Sep following.4
