       Elizabeth/2k Brooks was born 24 Jan 1695 at Kittery, ME.1 (An IGI birth entry gives Salisbury, MA, but it was her husband who was born there.). Of Kingston, NH, she married, 12 Nov 1718, Ebenezer Fellows of Kingston, son of Samuel Fellows and Abigail Barnard.2

       Lt. Robert/2k Brooks was born 1 Nov 1698 at Kittery, ME.2,1 He married Sarah Sawyer, widow of ____ Roberts.3,4 Of Scarborough, ME, 1724.5 Of Biddeford, ME, 1734, 1738 and 1741.6,7,8
     "Lieut. Robert Brooks, then of Biddeford, purchased land in Narragansett, No. 1 [now Buxton], as early as 1738, but sold it in 1741 to Job Roberts, his wife's son by a former marriage. He had settled in the township as early as 1742."6 At Biddeford in 1741.7 Admitted to the First Church, Biddeford, 10 Jul 1743.9 A soldier in the Louisburg expedition, he was commissioned as 'Robert Brooks, Gentleman,' by Gov. William Shirley, 1744, as lieutenant in the company of Capt. Ammi Cutter.6 He was dead in 1746.6
     "His residence in Saco was a mile below the meeting-house (old) on the Ferry road, which was sold to Dea. Amos Chase and is now known by the great elms there."6

       Sarah Sawyer, widow of ____ Roberts, married (2?) Lt. Robert/2k Brooks of York County, ME, son of John/1k Brooks and Eleanor/2 Frye.2,3 At Biddeford in 1741.4 He was reportedly dead in 1746.5 She was a widow of Biddeford, 1760.1 Of Cape Elizabeth, 1773.1

       John/2k Brooks Jr. was born 27 Feb 1703/4 at Kittery, ME.2,1 Of Kingston, NH, 1725, and Biddeford, ME in 1726, he sold out in Kingston in 1729.1 He married, "presum. 2d," by Aug 1740, Eleanor Meader, daughter of Nathaniel Meader and Eleanor (–?–), and widow of Daniel/4 Libby Jr. of Biddeford.3 With Robert Patterson he was bondsman, 20 Oct 1741, "of Biddeford," for the estate of Capt. James Grant of Berwick.4 Living at Kittery, 1786, aged 82.1
