Thomas/2 Terry was born 6 Mar 1665 at Springfield, MA.1 There he married (1), 21 Apr 1687, Mary/2 Cooley of Springfield, daughter of Ens. Benjamin/1 Cooley and Sarah (–?–), who was 6 years his senior.2 She died 6 Dec 1720.3 He married (2), 18 May 1722, Mrs. Mary Meacham of Enfield, perhaps widow of Isaac.3 He married (3), 22 Mar 1735/36, Hannah Sheldon, daughter of Isaac Sheldon and Mary (–?–), and widow of Samuel/3 Chapin.3 Hannah died 27 Jan 1742/43.3 He died 9 May 1760 (Springfield c.r.) at age 95.3

Mary/2 Cooley was born 22 Jun 1659 at Springfield, MA.1 There she married, as his 1st wife, 21 Apr 1687, Thomas/2 Terry of Springfield, son of Samuel/1 Terry and Ann/2 Lobdell, who was 6 years her junior.2 She died at Springfield 6 Dec 1720 at age 61.3 He married twice more, and died 9 May 1760 at age 95.3

Caleb/4s Brooks was born 22 Apr 1745 at Western (now Warren), MA.1 Removed to Nova Scotia prior to the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, but returned when ordered by authorities there to take an oath of loyalty to the Crown.2 According to DAR lineage records, Caleb Brooks of Western turned out for the Lexington Alarm.3 He married (1), (int. 16 Mar 1777, Warren), as her 2d husband, Tryphena Hinds, widow of ____ Tyler.4,5 She died at Warren 24 Aug 1788.6 The 1790 census recorded him living alone at Western.7 There he married (2), 27 Jan 1791, Abigail Bailey Willard, with whom he had 3 children.8 There he married (3), 13 Apr 1801, Anna Neavens, daughter of John Neavens and Sarah (–?–).9 He died before 1830, when his widow was head of household at Warren.10,11
In the U.S. House of Representatives, 3 Dec 1818, "Mr. Allen, of Massachusetts, presented a petition of Caleb Brooks, stating that he was born in the state of Massachusetts, and previous to the commencement of the revolutionary war, he removed into the British province of Nova Scotia, where he acquired a valuable real estate; that in the year 1775, he was required to take the oath of allegiance to the British government, which refusing to do, in consequence of his attachment to the cause of his native country, he was compelled to abandon his property and return to the United States; and that he served as a soldier in the revolutionary army, and praying for a grant of land equivalent in value to the property he thus lost, or for such other relief, as Congress may think just and reasonable." The petition was referred to the Secretary of War.2
