       Samuel/4w Carter Jr., 2d so-named, was born 7 Jan 1678 at Woburn, MA.1 He married, Mar 1701, probably at Lancaster, Dorothy/3 Wilder of Lancaster, daughter of Lt. Nathaniel/2 Wilder and Mary/2 Sawyer.2 He died at Lancaster 22 Aug 1738 at age 60.3 Interred in the Old Burial Field.4
