       Abraham/7k Brooks Jr. was born 2 Dec 1840 (g.s.) at Eliot, ME.1,3 Absent from his parents' household in the 1850 and 1860 census.4 A mason of Eliot, he married, 9 Sep 1866 at Portsmouth, NH, Lavinia E. Wheeler of Eliot, daughter of Daniel Wheeler and Mary (–?–).1,5 He died 29 Aug 1909 (g.s.) at age 68.3 She died 14 May 1910.5 They are buried in Eliot.6
