       Victor E/9k Brooks was born 1 Oct 1872 at Eliot, ME.1,2,3 Recorded (a. 8) in his parents' household at Newington, NH, in the 1880 census.2 Then a shoe cutter of Newington, he married, 10 Nov 1899 at Greenland, NH, Addie E. Pardon of Washington, ME, daughter of James Pardon and Mary Ripley.1 He died 6 Nov 1938 at age 66.3
