       Abigail/4a Brooks was born 6 Oct 1699 at Medford, MA.1 There she married, 27 Oct 1720, as his 2d wife, Thomas Oakes of Medford, son of Edward Oakes.2 There she died 30 Jun 1728, several weeks after childbirth, at age 28.3 Thomas married again, 1730, and died at Medford 14 Nov 1769.4

       Thomas Oakes married (1), 2 Aug 1716 at Newbury, MA, Elizabeth Greenleaf.2 He lived at Medford, where she died 3 Feb 1717/18.3 There he married (2), 27 Oct 1720, Abigail/4a Brooks of Medford, daughter of Capt. Ebenezer/3a Brooks and Abigail/3 Boylston.4 She died at Medford 30 Jun 1728.5 He married (3), 26 Nov 1730 at Andover, Sarah Blunt of Andover.6 In 1743, in a settlement of the estate of his late father-in-law Capt. Ebenezer Brooks, Thomas Oakes received £705-1-3 for the heirs of his late wife Abigail Oakes, five children under age.7 Thomas died at Medford 14 Nov 1769.8

       Job/4a Brooks was born 16 Apr 1698 at Concord, MA.2,1 He married, 26 Jan 1721 at Woburn, Elizabeth/4 Flagg, daughter of Ebenezer/3 Flagg and Elizabeth/4 Carter.3 With his brother Samuel he was executor of his father's will dated 6 Jan 1728/29.4 His wife Elizabeth died 21 Feb 1786.2,5 "A respectable farmer," and father of Gen. Eleazer Brooks, he died at Concord 26 Oct 1788 at age 90.6,7 Buried with Elizabeth in the Hill Burying Ground.2

       Elizabeth/4 Flagg was born 25 Jul 1701 at Woburn, MA.1 There she married, 26 Jan 1721, Job/4a Brooks of Concord, son of Ens. Daniel/3a Brooks and Anna/3 Merriam.2 She died 21 Feb 1786 (g.s.) at Concord.3,4 "A respectable farmer," and father of Gen. Eleazer Brooks, he died at Concord 26 Oct 1788.5,6 They are buried in the Hill Burying Ground.3
