       Rev. Thomas/4 Cheever was born 23 Aug 1658 at Ipswich, MA.¹ He settled at Rumney Marsh (later North Chelsea and then Revere), and married (1) Sarah Bill, daughter of James Bill.² She died 30 Jan 1704/5 at North Chelsea.² He married (2), 30 Jul 1707 at Boston, Elizabeth Senter, daughter of John Senter, and widow of Ephraim Warren.² She died 10 May 1727 at Rumney Marsh.^2,3 He married (3) (int. 31 Aug 1727) Abigail Jarvis.²
     "On Dec. 29, 1738, Rev. Thomas Cheever 'chiefly in respect of the love and Affection' which he had for his son Nathan, and as he had not, previously, given him 'anything Considerable for his Subsistence, though' the son had lived with him since becoming of full age and carried on the husbandry, and also in consideration of the sum of five hundred and fifty pounds to be paid to other children of the Rev. Thomas, gave this farm in Rumney Marsh to his son Nathan."⁴
     Rev. Thomas Cheever died at North Chelsea (then Chelsea) 27 Dec 1749 at age 91.² Buried in Olde Rumney Marsh Burial Ground, Revere. His widow died in Boston, 20 Jun 1753, "aged eighty-four years."²
