       Lt. John/1 Wyman was baptised 3 Feb 1621 at Westmill, Hertfordshire.2 He emigrated to New England, and married, 5 Nov 1644 at Woburn, MA, Sarah Nutt, daughter of Myles Nutt and Sarah Branson.3 28 Mar 1667, Francis Kendall, John Wyman, Thomas Peirce, John Brooks and Samuel Walker Sr. were appointed a committee of "wright proprietors" to distribute common land at Woburn. The committee received as compensation "for the truble and pains that they were at," "seven acres of make meadow or swamp."4 John Wyman was appointed guardian of Joseph/2 Farrar, 1678.5 A tanner, he died at Woburn 9 May 1684 at age 63.1 See Wyman's Charlestown, 2:1057.1
