       Rachel/4 Pierce was born 24 Jul 1681 at Woburn, MA.1 That she is the Rachel who married, by 1711, Elder David/4w Roberts Jr. of Woburn, son of David/2 Roberts and Joanna/3w Brooks, is known from the fact that Rachel's father Thomas Pierce III made son-in-law David Roberts an executor of his will, 1717. (Pierce Genealogy (1882) says Rachel married Jesse Osmer.).2 5 Dec 1737, David Roberts and wife Rachell were admitted to the church at Putnam, CT from Woburn.3 "David Robards, Elder, his wife" died 23 Mar 1759 (Putnam c.r.) at age 77.4
