       Dea. John/3s Stebbins was born 13 Feb 1686.1,2 He married, 10 Mar 1709/10, Patience Wright, late of Northampton, daughter of Judah/2 Wright and Mercy/2 Burt.3 She died at Brimfield 25 Oct 1761.4,5 There he died May 1765 at age 79.6,3 See Brimfield Town History.3

       Judah/2 Wright was born 10 May 1642 at Springfield, MA.1 Of Northampton, where he took the oath of fidelity 26 Mar 1661.2 There he married (1), 7 Jan 1666/67, Mercy/2 Burt of Springfield, daughter of Henry/1 Burt and Ulalia/1 Marche.3 (Their siblings Samuel Wright and Elizabeth Burt also married.). He was one of 30 Northampton residents who petitioned the General Court, 1671, for leave to establish a plantation at Squakheag (later Northfield), having already purchased the land from the Indians.4
     His wife died in 1686 at Litchfield, CT.5 He married (2), 11 Jul 1706, Sarah Burk, widow of Richard.6 She died at Northampton 31 Mar 1712.7 There he died 26 Nov 1725 at age 83.8
