       John/3 Merriam Jr. was born 3 Sep 1666 at Concord, MA.1 Admitted freeman of Concord 22 Mar 1689/90.2 There he married (1), 22 Jul 1691, Sarah/3 Wheeler of Concord, daughter of John/2 Wheeler and Sarah Larkin.3 She died 2 Aug 1692, a week after the birth of their only child.4 He married (2), 16 Feb 1692/93, Sarah Spaulding of Chelmsford, daughter of Benjamin Spaulding and Olive (–?–).5 "[He bought land of Thos Powers in Nashoba 1714], and on 24 Feb 1736-7, then being an inhabitant of Littleton, he sold his real estate in Concord."5 He died at Littleton 30 Nov 1748 at age 82.5

       Sarah/3 Wheeler was born 12 Dec 1666 at Concord, MA.1 There she married, as his 1st wife, 22 Jul 1691, John/3 Merriam Jr. of Concord, son of John/2 Merriam and Mary/2 Cooper.2 There she died 2 Aug 1692, at age 25, a week after giving birth to their only child.3 He married (2), 1693, Sarah Spaulding, and died at Littleton 30 Nov 1748.4
