       Ebenezer/3 Merriam was born at Concord, MA.2 There he married (1), 6 Dec 1705, Elizabeth/3a Brooks of Concord, daughter of Gershom/2a Brooks and Hannah/2 Eccles, with whom he had 3 children.3 He married (2), 9 Dec 1742 at Bedford, Elizabeth/4 Fletcher of Bedford, daughter of Cornet Samuel/3 Fletcher and Elizabeth/3 Wheeler, and widow of Stephen/3 Davis Jr.4 She died 5 Jun 1752 at age 64.5 There he married (3), 8 Feb 1753, Abigail/4 Fox of Concord, perhaps the, daughter of Capt. John/3 Fox and Susanna/3 Merriam.6 There she died 16 Jan 1759.7,1 There he married (4), 4 Dec 1759, Elizabeth Rigby of Concord. (Elizabeth "Rigsby" had been identified as a member of Ebenezer's household in the 1751 probate of his son Oliver's estate.).8 She died at Concord 15 Apr 1762.9 There Ebenezer married (5), 2 Nov 1762, Esther Laughton of Concord.10
     "Died in 1777, and his estate was settled by John Meriam, of Concord, May 7, 1777."1

       Hannah Gibson was born circa 1709.1 Of Boston, there she married, as his 1st wife, 20 Jun 1737, Dea. Ebenezer/4a Brooks Jr. of Medford, son of Capt. Ebenezer/3a Brooks and Abigail/3 Boylston, with whom she had 7 children.2,3 She died at Medford 6 Oct 1753 "in 45th y."1
