       Lucy (–?–) married, as his 2d wife, Capt. Benjamin/4c Brooks Jr., son of Capt. Benjamin/3c Brooks and Thankful Hickox.1,2 She died 21 Aug 1812 [Jacobus; 1814, g.s.] at Butternuts (now Morris), NY, ae. 69.1,2 There he died 8 Aug 1825.1,3,2 They are buried in Harmony Church Burying Ground, Morris.1,4

       Sophronia Halbert was born at Butternuts (now Morris), NY circa 9 May 1802.1,2 She married Eli/5c Brooks of Butternuts, son of Capt. Lemuel/4c Brooks and Amelia Blakeslee.1,2 Recorded (a. 48) with Eli (a. 52, farmer, estate $5000) and 7 children ages 7-22 in his father's household at Morris in the 1850 census.3 There Eli died 9 Nov 1858.1,2 There she died 6 Jun 1882, ae. 80-0-28 (g.s.).1 They are buried in Harmony Church Burying Ground.1,2
