       Sarah/3s Taylor was born 23 Jan 1681/82 at Suffield, CT.1 There she married, 2 Jan 1700, Capt. Joseph/3 Winchell of Windsor and Suffield, son of David/2 Winchell and Elizabeth/2 Filley.2,3 He died at Suffield 11 Mar 1742/43.4

       Elizabeth/2 Burt was baptised 4 Dec 1638 at Harberton, Devonshire.1 As a child she emigrated with her family to New England, where she married (1), 24 Nov 1653 at Springfield, MA, Sgt. Samuel/2 Wright Jr., son of Dea. Samuel/1 Wright and Margaret Stratton, with whom she had 8 children.1,2 (Their siblings Judah Wright and Mercy Burt also married.). As it happened, some months prior to marriage, Samuel Wright had conceived a daughter, born probably early 1654, with his wife's younger sister Mary, who married William/1 Brooks the following October. After the child's birth and a paternity trial, both Samuel Wright and Mary Burt were found guilty of fornication and whipped, and Samuel was assessed monthly child support payments and costs to put the child out as an apprentice after seven years.3
     Samuel and Elizabeth (Burt) Wright lived at Northampton, MA.4 A sergeant in Philip's War, he was slain in an Indian ambush at Squakheag, 2 Sep 1675.5 Elizabeth married (2), as his 3d wife, 16 Sep 1684, Nathaniel/2 Dickinson Jr. of Hatfield, son of Dea. Nathaniel/1 Dickinson and Anne (–?–).1 Elizabeth received a legacy of two milch cows or kine in her mother's will, 27 May 1684.6 Nathaniel Dickinson died at Hatfield 11 Oct 1710.1,4
