       Victory/2 Sikes was born 3 Mar 1648/49 at Springfield, MA.3,1 There he married (1), 29 Jan 1672, Elizabeth/3 Burt of Springfield, daughter of Dea. Jonathan/2 Burt and Elizabeth/2 Lobdell.4,5,6 A carpenter by trade, he with his brother Increase contracted to build a barn at Springfield, 52 x 24 feet, for Major John Pynchon.7
     He had a grant, 1680, of 50 acres "beyond, or at ye upper end of High streete," Suffield, CT.8 He was an original purchaser at Suffield from John Pynchon, who bought the tract which became Suffield from the Indians for £30, then had it surveyed and subdivided for sale to settlers. Pynchon's account reconciliation, dated Feb 1681, notes that Victory Sikes had paid 16s. 8d. for an unspecified amount of land.9 One of 34 qualified voters at Suffield's first town meeting, 9 Mar 1681/82, he moved his family there that year. His wife died at Suffield 29 Sep 1683.10
     He married (2), 16 Jul 1684 at Springfield, Elizabeth/2 Granger of Suffield, daughter of Lancelot/1 Granger and Joanna Adams.11,12 He married (3), 22 Dec 1692 at Springfield, Mary (–?–), widow of Judah/2 Trumbull of Suffield.13 He sold, 1 Aug 1699, for £55 of Joseph Sheldon, his Suffield house lot of 21 acres "with a mansion thereon."14 He died at Suffield 25 Apr 1708 at age 59.15

       Samuel/2 Bodurtha was born 1 Dec 1651 at Springfield, MA.2,1 There he married (1), 28 Apr 1681, Mercy/2 Dumbleton of Springfield, daughter of John/1 Dumbleton and Mercy (–?–).3,4 She died at Springfield 16 Jun 1689, 9 days after childbirth.5 He married (2), 30 Jul 1691, Mary Remington, widow of Abel/2 Leonard.6,7 His brother Joseph married both a sister and a sister-in-law of his 1st wife.

       Capt. Thomas/2 Colton was born 1 May 1651 at Springfield, MA.2,1 There he married (1), 11 Sep 1677, Sarah Griswold of Lyme, CT, daughter of Matthew Griswold.3 She died at Springfield 12 Sep 1690, one day following the birth of a stillborn child.4 There he married (2), 17 Dec 1691, Hannah/3 Bliss of Springfield, daughter of Lawrence/2 Bliss and Lydia/2 Wright.5,6,7 He died 30 Sep 1728 (g.s.) at age 77.8 Wid. Hannah died 6 Nov 1737.7 He is buried with Hannah in Longmeadow Cemetery.8
