       John/2 Colton was born 18 Apr 1659 at Springfield, MA.2,1 There he married (1), 19 Feb 1684/85, Abigail/2 Parsons of Springfield, daughter of Cornet Joseph/1 Parsons and Mary/2 Bliss.3,4,5 She died 27 Jun 1689.5 He married (2), 2 Sep 1690, Joanna/4 Wolcott of Windsor, CT, daughter of Henry/3 Wolcott and Abiah Goff.6,7 He died 3 Feb 1727 at age 67.5 His widow died 10 Jan 1755.5

       Nathaniel/2 Bliss was baptised 28 Dec 1622 at Rodborough, Gloucestershire.2 He married, as her 1st husband, 20 Nov 1646 at Springfield, MA, Katherine/2 Chapin, daughter of Dea. Samuel/1 Chapin and Cisely Penney, with whom he had 4 children.3 Buried at Springfield 18 Nov 1654 (Bliss and Warren report his death the same day).4 His widow married twice more, and died 4 Feb 1712/13.5
