       Jerusha (–?–) was born in New York or Vermont circa Aug 1779.1,2,3 She married John/6g Brooks of Chenango County, NY, son of Major Thomas/5g Brooks and Lucy/5g Brooks.1 John Brooks (a. 75, farmer) and wife Jerusha (a. 70) were recorded in the 1850 census in their son Horace's household at Smyrna, NY.3 John died by 1852.4 In 1860 Jerusha was again recorded in her son Horace's census household.2 She died 26 Mar 1862, aged 82-7 (g.s.).1 Buried in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne, NY.1
