       Capt. John/4 Burt Jr. was born 29 Mar 1687 at Springfield, MA.1 He married (1) (int. 7 Oct 1710, Springfield) Abigail Rix of Windsor, CT, daughter of Thomas Rix and Abigail Ingersoll, and granddaughter of John Ingersoll.2 She died at Springfield 17 Feb 1726/27.2 There he married (2), 22 Dec 1727, Mary/4 Sikes of Springfield, daughter of Increase/3 Sikes and Mary Knowlton.2 He died 19 Sep 1770 (c.r.) at age 83.2
