Thomas/1 Besbeech was baptised 3 Mar 1588/89 at Biddenden, Kent, England.1 There he married Anne Baseden, who was buried at Frittenden 21 Apr 1634.1 That same year he emigrated and settled at Scituate, MA, 1634.2 He subsequently removed to Duxbury, 1638, and thence to Marshfield.2 Savage says he died at Sudbury, but I do not find the record, although Thomas's daughter Mary was married there in 1641.3,1 Savage notes the name in English records is generally Besbeech, "but in N. E. is become Bisby or Bisbee."3
