Elizabeth Lane was born 18 Jul 1799.2 Of Stratham, NH, she married, 28 Sep 1823, Samuel/5 Sinclair, son of John/4 Sinclair.2 He died at Stratham 20 Jun 1867, and she 24 Feb 1868 at age 68.2

Samuel/5 Sinclair was born 2 Mar 1795 at Stratham, NH.1 He married, 28 Sep 1823, Elizabeth Lane, daughter of James Lane and Deborah Folsom, of Stratham.1 He died at Stratham 20 Jun 1867 at age 72.1
He was a factory machinist for many years, living at Dover, Exeter, and Newmarket, before purchasing a farm in Stratham, later owned by his son, Samuel J. Sinclair, where the father passed the remainder of his life and died. "He had fine business capacity and excellent financial ability, and was eminently successful. He was very conservative and looked with distrust and disapproval upon hazardous enterprises. His property was the result of the slow accumulations of many years. His success was won by care and prudence, combined with persistence and the exercise of good judgment."1
