Ebenezer/3 Warriner was born 4 Mar 1680/81 at Springfield, MA.1 He married, 8 Jan 1700/1, Joanna/3 Dickinson, daughter of Hezekiah/2 Dickinson and Abigail Blackman.2 They lived at Springfield, where he died 5 Feb 1737 (g.s.) at age 55.2 Buried in Pine Street Cemetery.2 His widow married (2) Benjamin/3 Chapin, and died 31 Oct 1764.3

Joanna/3 Dickinson was born 2 Feb 1684.1 She married (1), 8 Jan 1700/1, Ebenezer/3 Warriner of Springfield, MA, son of Dea. James/2 Warriner and Elizabeth/2 Baldwin.2 He died at Springfield 5 Feb 1737.2 She married (2), as his 2d wife (int. 27 Sep 1740, Springfield), Benjamin/3 Chapin of Springfield, son of Henry/2 Chapin and Bethiah/2 Cooley.3 He died 27 Mar 1756.3 She died 31 Oct 1764 (g.s.) at age 80.3 Buried with her 2d husband and his 1st wife in Chicopee Street Cemetery, Springfield.3

Sgt. Thomas/1 Spencer was baptised 29 Mar 1607 at Stotfold, Bedfordshire, England.1,2 Emigrated to New England, 1633.2 Admitted a freeman of Cambridge, MA 14 May 1634.2 Removed, 1636, to Hartford, CT, where he was a first settler.2,3 In 1638 he had a house lot there on Main Street, and in 1671 received a grant of land there "for his good service for the country."3 He married (1), by 1639, Ann Derifield, born in England circa 1610, with whom he had 3 children.4 He married (2), 11 Sep 1645 at Hartford, Sarah Bearding, daughter of Nathaniel Bearding, with whom he had 6 children.4 His will, 9 Sep 1687, made "cousin" [nephew] Samuel Spencer an overseer.4 He died at Hartford 11 Sep 1687 at age 80.5,4
