Lt. Josiah/4s Hitchcock was born 29 Nov 1726.1 He married (1), 28 Jun 1753, Martha/4 Hitchcock, daughter of Luke/3 Hitchcock and Martha/3 Colton, and a 2d cousin once removed.1 She died 27 Jan 1801.1 He married (2), 9 Dec 1802 at West Springfield, MA, Lucy/5 Day, daughter of Joseph/4 Day and Elizabeth/3 Mattoon.2 He died 9 Jan 1819 at age 92.1 Widow Lucy died 19 Mar 1826.2

Martha/4 Hitchcock was born 26 Aug 1726.1 She married, as his 1st wife, 28 Jun 1753, Lt. Josiah/4s Hitchcock, son of John/4 Hitchcock and Abigail/3s Stebbins, and a 2d cousin once removed.1 She died 27 Jan 1801 at age 74.1 He married (2), 1802, Lucy Day, and died 9 Jan 1819.2

Martha/3 Colton was born 4 Jun 1694.1 She married, 26 Jan 1720/21, Luke/3 Hitchcock III of Springfield, MA, son of Capt. Luke/2 Hitchcock and Sarah/3 Burt.2 She died 10 May 1754 (g.s.) at age 59.2 He died at Granville, MA, May 1775.2 She is buried with Luke's 2d wife in Pine Street Cemetery, Springfield.2

Luke/3 Hitchcock III ('2d' in recs.) was born 13 Jul 1691 at Springfield, MA.1 There he married (1), 26 Jan 1720/21, Martha/3 Colton of Springfield, daughter of John/2 Colton and Joanna/4 Wolcott.1 She died 10 May 1754.1 He married (2), as her 3d husband, 26 Dec 1754, Hannah Marsh, daughter of John Marsh, and widow of Daniel Kent and Maj. John/3 Day.1 She died 12 Sep 1758.1 He died at Granville, MA, May 1775, at age 83.1

No issue.3 He died 21 Nov 1794.3 She married (2), as his 2d wife, 9 Dec 1802 at West Springfield, Lt. Josiah/4s Hitchcock, son of John/4 Hitchcock and Abigail/3s Stebbins.1 He died 9 Jan 1819.4 She died 19 Mar 1826 at age 87.1
