       Lt. John/3 Kendall was born 19 Jan 1697 at Woburn, MA.1 There he married (1), 25 Mar 1718, Deborah/4w Richardson of Woburn, daughter of John/3 Richardson and Deborah/3w Brooks.2 They removed, with his brothers Ebenezer and Abraham, to Dunstable circa 1726.3 There Deborah died 3 Mar 1739.4 He married (2) Susanna (–?–), who died his widow 17 Jun 1766.5 He died 27 Jul 1759 (g.s.) at age 62.6 He is buried with his 2d wife in Meeting House Hill Cemetery, Dunstable.7
     "John was great-grandfather of Amos Kendall, Postmaster-General of the United States under President Jackson."3
