       John/2 Graves was born in England.1 He married (1), in New England, Mary/2 Smith, daughter of Lt. Samuel/1 Smith and Elizabeth (–?–), who died in Jul 1671, several weeks after childbirth.2,1 Removed with his father from Wethersfield, CT to Hatfield, MA in 1661.3 He married (2) Mary Bronson, daughter of John Bronson, and widow of John Wyatt of Haddam, CT.4,1 He was slain in the Indian attack on Hatfield, 17 Sep 1677.1 His widow married twice more.5,4
