       John/2 Jones Jr. was born 6 Jul 1656 at Concord, MA.1 There he married, 5 May 1681, Sarah/3 Farwell of Concord, daughter of John/2 Farwell and Sarah/2 Wheeler.2 Admitted a freeman 21 Mar 1689/90.3 Selectman, 1702, 1704-06.4 "His 14 Feb 1725/6 will, proved 11 Jul 1726, named executors wife Sarah and son Bartholomew."5
     R.D. Wheeler identifies him as Ensign, but the records of Ensign John which I find at Concord seem to refer to his son. See also Sibley's Harvard Graduates, 1:77-78, for what may be a different John Jones of Concord.6

       Ens. John/3 Jones III was born 6 Jan 1689/90 at Concord, MA.1 There he married, 25 Jul 1716, Anna/4a Brooks of Concord, daughter of Ens. Daniel/3a Brooks and Anna/3 Merriam.2 She died 9 Jun 1753.3 He died at Concord 12 Mar 1762 at age 72.4

       Anna/4a Brooks was born 21 Feb 1695/96 at Concord, MA.1 There she married, 25 Jul 1716, Ens. John/3 Jones III of Concord, son of John/2 Jones and Sarah/3 Farwell.2 Anna Jones is mentioned in her father's will, 6 Jan 1728/29.3 She died 9 Jun 1753 (c.r.) at age 57.4 Her husband died at Concord 12 Mar 1762.5
