       Thomas Cole was in court, 1682, for freeing Jonathan Ferguson from the stocks.1 Grantee at Wells, ME, 29 Apr 1684. Juror, 1687; grand juror 1694, 1695.1 He married, by May 1685, Abigail (–?–).1 Both were killed by Indians 24 Jun 1696.1

Thomas Hanscom

       Thomas Hanscom, of Kittery, ME was a grand juror, 1691, 1696; tax juror, 1696-7; and constable, 1698.1 He married (1), by 1690, Alice Rogers, daughter of Richard Rogers. He married (2), by 1698, Tamsen Gowell, widow of ____ Shears.1 The will of Richard Rogers, 11 Jan 1700, named son-in-law Thomas Hanscom overseer, but made no provision for Hanscom grandchildren.1 He died intestate, 1713.1 Administration granted, 11 May 1713, to the widow, who remained such, 1729.1
