       Martha A. Littlefield was born in Maine 22 Feb 1834 (g.s.).1,2 She married, 4 Oct 1855 at Alfred, ME, Nathaniel/6k Brooks, son of Rev. Nathaniel/5k Brooks and Hannah Moulton.1,3 The 1860 census recorded Nathaniel (a. 27, seaman, real estate $700, personal estate $100), Martha A. (a. 26), and sons George (a. 3) and William (a. 2) in their household at Wells.2 Martha died 11 Feb 1911 (g.s.) at age 76.1 They are buried with his parents in Locust Grove Cemetery, Ogunquit, ME. Nathaniel's stone bears no dates.1

       Elizabeth/6k Brooks was born circa 1817 at York, ME.1 She married (1), 20 Mar 1836 at Watertown, MA (IGI), Charles Moore.2 He died 3 May 1850 at Brighton, MA.3 She married (2), 5 Oct 1851 at Watertown, George Farrar.4 She married (3), 2 Jul 1868 at Charlestown, Job Curtis.5 The 1870 census recorded Job Curtis (a. 47, pedler, real estate $1200, personal estate $200), Elizabeth (a. 49), and Job's son Enoch (a. 20, tanner) by a prior wife in their household at Woburn.6 In 1880 the household included Job (still a. 47, "huckster"), Elizabeth (a. 59), and Elizabeth's daughter Lillia Farrar ["Curtis"] (a. 21, tailoress).7 Elizabeth died at Woburn between 1 Jan and 20 Nov 1885.8

       George/6k Brooks was born in Maine circa 1816.2 He married (1), 28 Nov 1839 (int. 23 Oct, York), Lucy Hutchins of York.3,4 There she died 24 Jan 1855.5 He married (2) (int. 16 Jun 1860, York) Mary Witham of York.6,7 The 1860 census recorded George (a. 40, brakeman), wife Mary (a. 32), and three children of his 1st marriage (Lucy, Jane, and Elizabeth) in their household at York.8 Their 1870 household included George (a. 53, fisherman), Mary (a. 44), two children (Martha, Elizabeth) of his 1st marriage and one (George) of his 2d marriage, and his father Nathaniel (a. 77, retired clergyman).1 He died at York 20 Oct 1870.2 Buried there with his 1st wife.9
