       Elkanah Dyer was born 17 Sep 1759 at Cape Elizabeth, ME.1 He married, 17 Oct 1784, Catherine/5k Brooks of C.E., daughter of John/4k Brooks and Martha Staples.2 She died at Lewiston 21 Mar 1857.1
