       Stephen Chandler was born 2 Feb 1730/31.¹ He married (1) (int. 9 May 1752, Springfield, MA) Mary/4s Steele, daughter of John/3s Steele and Abigail/3s Brooks.¹ She died of smallpox 8 Dec 1760.^1,2 He married (2), by 1762, his 1st cousin Hepsibah Chandler, daughter of Samuel Chandler and Hepsibah/3 Colton, and widow of Stephen Warriner.¹ He married (3) Elizabeth (–?–).¹ His wife Elizabeth died 1 Aug 1803.¹ He died 10 Sep 1804 (g.s.) at age 73.¹ He is buried with Elizabeth in Longmeadow Cemetery.¹
