       Sarah/4 Bagg was born 1 Nov 1736/8 [Warren; 1 Nov 1736, Hix], probably at Springfield, MA.1 Mentioned in her father's will, dated 10 Mar 1763, and proved 3 Jun 1777.2 She removed to Saratoga County, NY with Israel/4s Brooks , son of Joseph/3s Brooks and Mary/4 Bliss. "Israel Brooks left his family and his only legal wife [Miriam Morgan] in West Springfield and moved to New York State with another woman [Sarah Bagg] whom he considered his wife and with whom he had a second family."3,2
     The will of Israel Brooks, dated 15 Oct 1794 at Half Moon, NY, and proved 12 Feb 1795, made "my wife Sarah, daughter of John Bagg, deceased, of West Springfield, Massachusetts," and Silas Hamilton executrix and executor and also guardians for the sons he had with Sarah, Joel and Aaron Brooks, during their minority. He left "sixteen pounds New York currency to be equally divided among my children in New England the Executor is to deliver the said sixteen pounds to my son Levi and take his receipt for to distribute the same equally among his Brothers and Sisters …" His sons Joel and Aaron were "to find a comfortable dwelling house and sufficient quantity of firewood for their mother during her life"; also mentioned were daughters Sarah, Clairey and Esther and the first two male heirs of his daughters Sarah and Clairey that should arrive at the age of 21, who proved to be Chester and Israel.2,3
     Israel Brooks died before 12 Feb 1795, when his will was proved.2 Sarah Bagg died in Saratoga County, NY between 1801 and 1802.2

       John/3 Bagg III was born 23 Aug 1696 at Springfield, MA.1 He married, 7 Jan 1729/30, Elizabeth Stockwell of Westfield, daughter of John Stockwell.2,3 His will, dated 10 Mar 1763, proved 3 Jun 1777, named wife Elizabeth, daughters Elizabeth and Sarah, and son John, who was appointed executor.3 He died 28 Jan 1776 (g.s.) at age 79.1 Wid. Elizabeth died 11 Jun 1792 (g.s.).1 They are buried in Brush Hill Cemetery, Springfield.1

       Cecilia Mathilda Platt was born on Long Island, NY circa 1808.1,2 She married, by 1838, David/6f Brooks Jr. of Stratford, CT, son of David/5f Brooks and Abigail/5 Hawley.1 The 1850 census recorded David (a. 52, merchant), "Julia" (a. 42), Edward (a. 12, student), David (a. 7, student), and Helen (a. 5, student) in their Ward 16 household in New York City.2 He died in Mar 1862.3 Cecilia died 10 Jan 1877.4
