       Sarah Halenbeek was born in 1757 and died after 10 Mar 1806.1 She married Wilhelm/4x Brooks, son of Joshua/3x Brooks and Geertje Jans Bont.1

       Wilhelm/4x Brooks was baptised 15 May 1748 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Albany, NY, witnesses Thomas and Annatje Flight (Vlydt).2,1 He married Sarah Halenbeek.3 He died in 1833.3
     "Most of the Brookses in that time frame in the Athens area of Greene County were probably descendants (or otherwise close relatives) of William/Wilhelm Brooks (1748-1833). William had a large family, at least 5 sons."3
