Nathaniel Meader

Nathaniel Meader was constable of Dover, NH, 1697.1 He was killed by Indians at Oyster River, not far from Nicholas Follett's house, 25 Apr 1704.1 3 Apr 1705, his widow Eleanor renounced administration of his estate to his brother Joseph. A division was made 2 Apr 1706 between the widow, unnamed children and creditors.1 "She may have been John Leighton's 2d w. Eleanor."1
