Isaac/3w Fox was born 17 Oct 1657 at Concord, MA.1 He married, 18 Jul 1678 at Billerica, Abigail Osborn, perhaps daughter of Thomas/1 and Sarah Osborn.2 They lived at Medford, where the births of 7 children are recorded.3 Sometime following the birth of their last child at Medford (1693), and before 1700, they removed to New London, CT, and settled on a farm on "General Neck," south of New London village, in the immediate neighborhood of Isaac's brothers Samuel and John and sister Hannah.4 There Abigail died 12 Mar 1718.5 Isaac married (2), 4 Sep 1720, Elizabeth Beebe.5 He died at New London 5 May 1735 at age 77.6
The will of Isaac Fox, "late of New London," dated 1 Jul 1731, with codicil dated 24 Mar 1734/5, was admitted to probate 15 May 1735. It names wife Elizabeth, sons, Isaac, John, Samuel, Ebenezer and Thomas, and daughter Abigail Davis. Son Samuel and Ensign Beebe of New London were executors.5
By deed dated 9 Jan 1729/30, Isaac Fox gave the land for the first Baptist meeting house in New London, of which his brother Samuel was a trustee. The building was shared by Seventh and First Day Baptists, who worshipped in it on different days. Standing on Fort Hill, and known from its height and peculiar proportions as the "Pepper Box," it was taken down in 1847.5

Ebenezer/4w Fox was born 14 Oct 1689 at Medford, MA.1 Removed with his family to New London, CT before 1700.2 There he married, 25 Mar 1719, Jane Stedman of New London, daughter of John Stedman, with whom he had 8 children.3 He made his home at New London, 1722-32, after which he removed to E. Haddam.4 Mentioned in his father's will, 1 Jul 1731.5 He died in Millington Parish, East Haddam, before 25 Apr 1752, when his children disposed of his property.4
