       Elizabeth Loder was born 29 Jun 1733 at Ridgefield, CT.1 She married, 24 May 1753 (S. Salem c.r.) at Salem, Westchester, NY, Pvt. Ebenezer/4s Brooks III, also a Ridgefield native, son of Ebenezer/3s Brooks and Jane St. John (Sention).2 Elizabeth, wife of Ebenezer Brooks Jr., was admitted 17 Sep 1758 to the 1st Church of Christ, South Salem, NY.2 An enlistee in New York's militia forces in the French and Indian War, Ebenezer was dead by 1760, when Commissariat records state that the pay due him at the time of his death has been conveyed to the widow.3 She died 26 Nov 1778 (S. Salem c.r.) at age 45.2
