       Margery (Margaret) Knight married (1), as his 2d wife, 27 Jan 1668 at Concord, MA, Thomas/2 Bateman, son of Sgt. William/1 Bateman.1 He died at Concord 6 Feb 1669.2 There she married (2), as his 2d wife, 7 Feb 1670, Nathaniel/2 Ball, son of John/1 Ball and Joanna King.3 He died at Concord 14 Jan 1705/6.4 There she died 18 Apr 1709.5

       Martha/2w Brooks was born in England. She married, as his 1st wife, by 1645, Thomas/2 Bateman of Concord, MA, son of Sgt. William/1 Bateman.2 She died at Concord 3 Aug 1665.3
     Neither Shattuck nor Cutter mention her among the children of Henry Brooks of Woburn, nor is she mentioned in Henry's will, as she predeceased her father by 18 years. Her husband, however, was overseer of the will of Thomas/1 Fox, who married her sister Hannah. In 1738 her son (or grandson) Eleazer Bateman, calling himself "a kinsman of David Fox" (Martha's nephew), put forth a claim for the latter's rights based on service in the Phips expedition against Canada, 1690.4,5
