       Samuel/2 Allis was born 24 Feb 1646/47 at Braintree, MA, and removed with his parents to Hadley about 1662.^2,1 He married Alice (–?–).³ They lived opposite the village of Hadley, on the west side of Connecticut River, and their settlement became the new town of Hatfield in 1670.⁴ He had a share, 19 rods in width, in the first division of the Hatfield commons, 29 May 1678.⁵ He died at Hatfield 9 Mar 1691 at age 44.³ His widow married (2) Sgt. John Hawks.

       John/3 Allen Jr., 2d so-named, was probably the same whose birth was recorded at Suffield, CT, 19 Jan 1684.^2,1 (Ricker concatenates this birth record with the 3 Apr 1683 death of his older brother John.).¹ He settled in that part of Deerfield, MA, which later became Greenfield.³ He married, 21 Jun 1716 at Deerfield, Abigail Severance of Deerfield, daughter of Ebenezer Severance and Mary (–?–).^3,4,5 He died at Greenfield 30 Nov 1761 at age 77.^3,6 There she died 17 Sep 1770.⁷

       Dorcas/3s? Brooks, of Deerfield, MA there married, 19 May 1746, John Perkins '3d' of New Haven, son of Elisha Perkins and Sarah Smith.^2,1,3 Probably a , daughter of Nathaniel/2s Brooks and Mary/3 Allis.

       Andrew/1 Warner was born in England. He married (1) (–?–) (–?–).¹ He married (2) Esther (–?–), widow of Thomas Selden of Hartford, CT.^2,1 Of Cambridge, MA, 1632, and Hartford 1639.^1,2 One of the first settlers of Hadley, MA where he died 18 Dec 1684.^1,2 Esther died in 1693.^1,2

       Beriah/4s Grandy [Binah, Deerfield rec.] was born 11 May 1725, probably at Northfield, MA (but rec. Deerfield).^1,2 A soldier in the "old French war," he lived at Northfield between 1755 and 1763.²
     "He married and had descendants, but his wife's name and date of marriage are unknown," says Varla Wright.³

       John/4s Grandy was born 11 Dec 1720, perhaps at Northfield, MA (but rec. Deerfield).^1,2 Said to have married, by 1742 in Vermont, Esther (–?–).³ Hist. Northfield calls him "a noted hunter, 1757-65."⁴ At Chesterfield, NH, with his brother Parker, in 1770.⁵

       Parker/4s Grandy was born 15 Mar 1730, perhaps at Northfield, MA (but rec. Deerfield).^1,2 "Parker was in Chesterfield, NH in 1770 with his brother John. He is called a farmer and a soldier of the Revolution."³

       Sgt. Robert/4s Grandy was born 19 Jan 1732, perhaps at Northfield, MA (but rec. Deerfield).¹ He married, circa 1753, probably at Columbia, CT, Bethiah Porter of Columbia, daughter of Thomas Porter.² "His first five children's names were entered in the town records of Salisbury, CT. Four later children were attributed to them by town historians and circumstantial evidence."³ He removed from Salisbury to Northfield circa 1765.⁴ Rem. to Chesterfield, NH, about 1772.⁴ Signed (as Grandey) the Association Test (expressing Revolutionary loyalty) at Hinsdale, NH in 1776.⁵ Sergeant in Capt. Daniel Shattuck's company, Col. Samuel Ashley's NH regiment, 1777.⁶ Signed a deed at Reading, VT 1779, and upon the town's incorporation in 1780, he was one of the first selectmen.⁷ Perhaps the Mr. Grandy who there married, 2 Nov 1783, Rebecca Hunter.⁷
     Robert Grandy, with wife and one son (prob. Elijah), was recorded at Reading in the 1790 census. Also at Reading that year were the households of sons Bezaleel, Robert and Samuel.⁸ His 1800 household at Reading included himself and his wife, both over 45 years of age.⁹ Not found in the 1810 census.¹⁰ Buried in Brookdale Cemetery, Stockholm, NY.¹¹

       Silence/4s Grandy was born 28 Jan 1727/28, probably at Northfield, MA (but rec. Deerfield).^1,2 Then of Warwick, MA, she married (1), 13 Aug 1767 at Montague, Benjamin Fuller of M.³ Probably the Mrs. Silence Fuller who married, Apr 1798 at Gill, Israel Gibbs.⁴
