       Rev. Aaron/4a Whittemore was born 13 Dec 1711 at Concord, MA.1 Graduated Harvard College, taking his A.M. in 1734.2,3 Ordained, 1737, as minister of the First Congregational Church of Pembroke, NH, where he served 30 years.4,5 He married, 26 Feb 1744 at Newbury, MA, Abigail Coffin of Newburyport, daughter of John Coffin and Judith Greenleaf.6 He "served in the French and Indian war as a lieutenant, and his house was a garrison."7 He died at Pembroke 16 Nov 1767, at age 55.8,3 Buried in the Large Cemetery, Pembroke.3 Abigail died 12 May 1803 at age 84.8
